Psyon Chess Junior Club, Chislehurst
Thursdays 6.30–7.30pm · Chislehurst Methodist Church, BR7 5LX
The Chislehurst junior club meets on Thursday evenings, immediately before the adult club, at Chislehurst Methodist Church.
Sessions are for beginners and improvers, up to an ECF standard rating of 1200. Each one combines a structured curriculum with games, competitions and tournaments, so children are learning something new and putting it straight into practice against other players.
The club runs largely during school term dates.

From a parent at the club
My son has been attending Psyon Chess for some time now and absolutely loves it. He looks forward to every session and has made great progress, both in his chess skills and his confidence. Satish is a great teacher and explains things in a way that keeps the children interested and engaged. I really like the balance between learning new skills and having the chance to play against other children. It has been lovely to see my son’s enjoyment of chess grow. A friendly, welcoming and well-run club that I would happily recommend to any parent whose child enjoys chess.
